Being part of the digital age and social media era, expressing yourself and voicing out your opinion is pretty easy. All it takes is just one click. But how do we really define ourselves? Joining in the campaign of freedom and self-expression is Uniqlo with their #UTYouTalk campaign.
I, for one, loves statement shirts. Everything that screams adventure. That is probably why I love Uniqlo's UTs. Whether it's Batman, TinTin, Star Wars or even Hello Kitty, there will always be a shirt that will shout out who you are. And last Thursday, I got the chance to celebrate with Uniqlo's 3rd year anniversary plus the launch of their #UTYouTalk campaign which aims to create awareness for self-expression and make powerful statements about their personal style in their own creative ways. The event was hosted by Joyce Pring and graced by my celebrity crushes, Yeng Constantino and Alex Gonzaga (she's really funny!)
The star of the campaign is, of course, the UT shirt, whose philosophy is: “A UT is more than just a T-shirt. It’s an expression of who you are. Where you’ve been, what you love. And with hundreds of limited-edition T-shirts to choose from each year, you’ll always find one that says exactly what you feel.”
And guess what? Uniqlo also collaborates with home-grown brand Jollibee to express one’s happiness via a T-shirt that declares Joy Fits All. Imagine my two faves in one collaboration! How cool can that be? These collaboration shirts will be available in all UNIQLO stores starting June 1.Aside from Jollibee, San Miguel Beer shirts will also be available to the market soon. Look who's a happy kiddo. Probably the best collaboration of the year. JOLLIBEE x UNIQLO. Starting today, @uniqlophofficial UT shirts ft. @jollibee will be available as part of the #UTYouTalk campaign. Show who you really are. Express yourself. Wear a UT! Read more on www.justinvawter.com :)
